Xoe, or vampires, and werewolves, and demons, oh my!

I admit, I’m not very good with technology in general, but a couple of days ago I found you can download a Kindle reading app to the computer from Amazon.com. I mostly just wanted to check it out, turns out, I found use for it almost imidiately. I am a curious person, so everytime I get a like on a post, or a new follower, I always check out that persons blog (if they have any). That is how I came across this book: Xoe, or vampires and werewolves and demons, oh my! by Sara C. Roethle. It’s the first book in a serie about Xoe Meyer. The first book was a free download (good for me, so I could test how the Kindle-thing worked). I like YA-books, I like supernatural creatures, so I thought I would give the book a shot. I’m glad I did πŸ™‚

I liked how Xoe seemed to be quite normal, not the most popular girl in school, but not a complete outcast either. I liked the friendship she had with Lucy and Allison. I do however think the three girls were a little quick to believe Jason and Max. Sure, they wanted to deny it right away, but they were still quick to believe them. (Yes, I get that they kind of had to because of Lucy, but still). A couple of places the book reminded me of Twilight (Stephanie Meyer), but luckily not to much.

I know that I should know better by now than to start reading a new serie, but aparently I just can’t seem to help myself… I want to read the next book in the serie πŸ™‚
